Traditional ceremony held for the two Regents (Capitani Reggenti) Appointment. The Capitani Reggenti are the two Heads of State elected every six months by the Grand and General Council (San Marino Parliament).

Spend the Summer with us

At the Cava dei Balestrieri, in the full centre of town, every night there is a comic show with some of the best Italian comicians.

 

 

16/24 August:
Eyes in the Sky - Celtics, Etrurians and Italics facing the vault of heaven

This exhibition, realized by the San Marino Mutual Aid Society and the Cassa di Risparmio Foundation, will show the relation between three different pleople of the past, the sky and the constellations. Definitively one of the most interesting cultural events of the summer. 

 

 

29/31 August:
San Marino and Rimini Coast Cinzano MotoGP

World Championship. The best world bikers for 125, 250 and MotoGP will challenge at the brand new Misano Circuit.

July 2008

5/6 July: SAN MARINO'S "NOTTE ROSA"

The Notte Rosa, the most important event of the Italian Summer, is about to break out. Considered by many on the same level as New Year's Eve, the great Rimini's Riviera party will set fire on more than 100 coast Kilometers, from Comacchio to Cattolica, on the night between the 5th and the 6th July 2008.

 

14/19 July: SAN MARINO ETHNOFESTIVAL

Music, as universal language, can go through the borders of time
and space, pointing out life and traditions from all over the World
with sounds, colours, history, costumes and habits.

 

21/27 July:
ATP CHALLENGER TOUR INTERNATIONAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT

The most prestigious names of both Italian and International Tennis challenge themselves in a competition appealing thousands of fans and keen on tennis.

 

 

24/27 July: MEDIEVAL DAYS

 

A highly suggestive and striking event that purposes, in just one
week, the most beautiful, complete and extraordinary range of
Italian tradition. The Restaurants offer medieval menus, while in
the Centre there is a different theme show.
